The gym has been running for just over a year. In the meantime we moved from Wesoła street to Tęczowa, and only here did the place start to look the way we had imagined it.
The gym is run by Grzegorz Heinze and Agata Sitko, a multiple world and European record holder in powerlifting and a two-time Sheffield champion. We built a place by lifters for lifters, so that everyone feels at home, trains on proper equipment and has room to grow. We wanted somewhere to pursue our own goals and, along the way, to give others space to work, express themselves and learn.
This is not a gym opened by an investor, but by people who step onto the platform themselves. That is where the Eleiko bars on the racks come from, and the deadlift platform, and the fact that nobody frowns at chalk. We know what hard training needs, because we need it ourselves.
What sets us apart from an ordinary gym is above all the equipment for powerlifting and strength training in general. We also have strongman gear and a competitive atmosphere that cannot be faked. You do not have to worry about using chalk, pulling heavy deadlifts or playing your own music. We know what hard training looks like, and this gym exists so that you can do it.
Beginners are welcome here. Anyone will gladly show you how to use the equipment and help with whatever else you need. We have no rigid rules or philosophy beyond respecting each other and lending a hand when the situation calls for it.
